“After surveying our membership, it was the topic of social media education that came out on top as a need for our members. We scheduled a session with Terri to travel to Miramichi to educate a group of 28 women – all at different stages of social media interaction.
After the two and a half hour session, which included much hands on interaction, you could see the confidence level of these women rise as Terri enlightened them with the knowledge of different applications like Facebook and Twitter. She also walked participants through searching techniques and leveraging opportunities. Touching on content creation and analytics, participants at her workshop began using the tips they received immediately in order to engage current customers and attract new ones.
For our members, their need was to learn more about how to use social media applications to grow their business and individually, what the best application for them was. Terri helped them with that. Participants said it was one of the most valuable pieces of education they had received, and the feedback created a buzz within the other members who could not attend.
